Also, we spent much less than I feared the bill would be before I called. I couldn't have asked for a better job. Our sink is up and running better than it did before. Thank you, A1 Best Plumbing! We will use you next time we have a plumbing problem.

  I called for replacement of the washing machine intake valves. If our house had been built correctly, this would have been a very straight forward job. Unfortunately, the valves had... read more been soldered instead of installed with a threaded coupling. Ronald and Dominic discovered the problem, figured out how to fix it and worked diligently to get the job done. Later, I discovered a very small leak in one of the connections. I called the next morning and they were back out that day to fix the problem. This is the second time that we have used their services and, again, we are very happy with the service provided.

  I am very disappointed in the service from this company. The owner was very rude and unprofessional. Our work that was done was never completed because the job was larger... read more than anticipated-our main valve needed repairing but the tech had to go to another job. We had to pay him before we left. He said he or someone else would be back in the morning to finish the main water valve between 10-12. No one showed up and we had been without water more than 24 hrs. I called the tech and he said the owner was supposed to call us-but he didn't. He also said the owner refused the work because the job was "a can of worms"-no call or anything to even tell us they refused the work. We had to call another plumber and they did the main valve no problem. When we turned the water back on, we noticed the cold water wasn't working at the kitchen sink due to a broken part where the A1 tech was working the day before. I called to have them come back out to finish the job but the owner refused to without charging us almost another $200. We will never give this company another cent and I will caution everyone I know to steer clear of them.

They told me it was $180 for snaking $250 if it was after hours. So I scheduled during business hours. Somehow the guy went from... read more $250 to $495 because he had to clime on the roof to the main. But when he talked to my landlord he change it to $550. Also he ended
Up changing one pipe under my shower. Once he did that the shower was draining slow and then the house started to smell of gas. Call
The gas company the shut everything off because the was now a gas leak.
Next day they send plumbers back to locate the leaks and give estimate. 1 day no gas. On 2nd they send a different guy and don't tell me. And he does the measurements over again. Now 3rd day they begin work. But half way through the day they stop to get supplies but left my backyard gate open and dirty coveralls in the front yard and no sign of them. I call to see if coming back and they didn't come back for 3 hours it was nightfall by this time and they needed to go home. Now going on 4 days no gas! They guy tells me they will be there 1st thing in morning by the time I get home from work they will be done. Well the guy never came in morning and I call where are you and he says he forgot he had a physical therapy appointment. But say the coworker was working on the place. No one was at my place until late late afternoon they finished at 8:45 pm gas was back on 9:45 finally hit show by 10pm. To top it off they charge us a fortune. Never again.

Our most frequent plumbing issue was a shower pipe that disconnected from the main line and was leaking water under our house without us knowing for weeks. I called Vince on a Saturday morning and Ron and D came out and spent the majority of the day fixing the issue and cleaning up the water under the house. They did a wonderful job and we have peace of mind knowing that there won't be additional problems in the future. Plumbing issues are never fun, but A1 Plumbing is beyond helpful and will get the job done correctly and for a fair price.

Ron snaked it once - it didn't clear. He did it a second time and it was cleared. But Ron wasn't going to leave without ensuring there was no further blockage. He snaked a third time and removed a deeper blockage than we knew about. He said he's "not a quitter"! and didn't want to leave without ensuring that they left us with cleared pipes all the way through. Thanks Vince, Ron, and D!
