You may say it's only a very small difference, but my main beef was they did not call me to let me know how much it was going to cost instead of obtaining approval from the tenant. Yes it did have to be cleared but I think they should let the owner know first exactly how much it was going to cost plus the 3% credit card convenience fee that will be charged on top of it. I would have appreciated a full disclosure, and an accurate billing total.

Vince said he didn't have one but might be able to get one in the morning. He also recommended calling some of the bigger companies that night as they might have one in stock. Needless to say we couldn't find one that night and Vince went to work early on Thanksgiving morning. He found a warehouse that would open up for him and was able to get the parts needed. Jim arrived quickly and got to work. We are thankful for Jim who did sacrifice time with his family to get us up and running. Jim worked cleanly and quickly while communicating through the whole process. Thank you Vince and Jim again. I will definitely be using A1 again in the future.

Our work that was done was never completed because the job was larger... read more than anticipated-our main valve needed repairing but the tech had to go to another job. We had to pay him before we left. He said he or someone else would be back in the morning to finish the main water valve between 10-12. No one showed up and we had been without water more than 24 hrs. I called the tech and he said the owner was supposed to call us-but he didn't. He also said the owner refused the work because the job was "a can of worms"-no call or anything to even tell us they refused the work. We had to call another plumber and they did the main valve no problem. When we turned the water back on, we noticed the cold water wasn't working at the kitchen sink due to a broken part where the A1 tech was working the day before. I called to have them come back out to finish the job but the owner refused to without charging us almost another $200. We will never give this company another cent and I will caution everyone I know to steer clear of them.
